Preparatory School (FLEPS) “Civic
Involvement Projects” coordinator and
academic staff member Mehşen Ercanlar
in collaboration with academic staff
members Nevin Adalar, Pınar Hüdaoğ-
lu and Refika İlkan Özer, the second
observation trip to Kyrenia region took
place with the participation of FLEPS
students within the framework of ‘Cyprus
Turkish Culture’ project.
During the said visit, students first
visited Beylerbeyi (Bellapais) Village.
During their stay in the said village,
students took a short village tour and
visited Bellapais Monastery. Students,
then, visited Kyrenia Castle with a tour
guide and received detailed information
about its history. The visit continued at
Kyrenia Yacht Harbour where students
had the chance to take photos with
beautiful scenery. Stating their pleasure
in taking part in the visit, students
added that they live the excitement and
happiness of discovering historical and
geographical beauties of the island.
