Dear Students,
Welcome to Eastern Mediterranean University. In order to be exempted from English Preparatory School and directly start to study in your department in the 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester, you need to fulfil the language requirements mentioned for your department on the link below:
If you would like to take the Proficiency Exam Stage I, you have to register for one of the exam date until 9 September.

REGISTRATION FOR PROFICIENCY EXAM STAGE I
In the case you do not have any valid language proficiency documents required to be exempted from English Preparatory School, you need to take the English Proficiency Exam which will be administered in English Preparatory School buildings.
Students who do not register will not be admitted to the exams.
All students without a valid language proficiency document must take the Proficiency Exam.
You should register for the English Proficiency Exam by choosing one of the different exam date options given below as every student has the right to take the English Proficiency Exam once.
You need to bring your identity card or passport with a pencil and an eraser on the exam day.
When you choose a date, you will be able to see the details of your exam (date, time, exam room).
Once you choose a date, you cannot change it. If you will not be able to attend the English Proficiency Exam on the date you choose, please contact the FLEPS Secretaries via phone (+90 630 2153 or +90 630 1330) during the working hours (08.00 – 15.00 – Cyprus local time).
English Proficiency Stage I Exam Dates for 2024-2025 FALL SEMESTER:
- 11 September 2024
- 18 September 2024
- 24 September 2024
Now please go into your Portal and choose a date (register) for the Proficiency Exam Stage I.
