(FLEPS) MLDE 118 (Introduction
to Multi-Cultural Education) course
instructors, Ayşe Onut and Fatma
Galatyalı, organized a trip for their
students to introduce Cypriot culture.
Students visited and observed historical
landmarks İncirli Cave, Tatlısu
village, reflecting Cypriot culture. The
event was completed after a lunch of
Cypriot cuisine and delicacies following
the visits. Students, who took lots
of photos and immortalized their visit,
stated that they are pleased to get to
know new places and food reflecting
Cypriot culture.
Ayşe Onut, one of the instructors of
the Introduction to Multi-Cultural
Education course, said: “We received
positive feedback from our students.
We organized this event to introduce
Cypriot culture and thanks to it, our
students explored new places and
food as well as learning about cultural
differences”.
